I have been a client of Hair and Body Works for a very long time. I have never known them to have a male massage therapist. Mary (one of the owners and massage therapist) and Debrah (stylist, other owner) would never have permitted anyone to have ever worked for them who gave a service such as this. Please check to see where your gift certificate came from and where you actually had your service. This is a wonderful all service salon. I have my har colored and cut monthly, my face waxed monthly and on occasion I treat myself to massages and pedicures. I have never left without a smile on my face!

First, a disclaimer - this is only pertinent to the massage that I received there... the salon offers other services which I have not tried.A friend gave me a gift certificate for a 60-minute massage, which I was very excited about. My experience though turned into a lot of pain which lasted literally for days. The guys who gave me the massage applied so much pressure that I was ready to scream. I asked him to ease it up, but he was still pressing pretty hard. At that point, my body was so numb that I could barely feel any pressure at all. Also, he was applying way too much oil, so after going through my hair and massaging my head, which wasn't pleasant, everything was completely covered in oil. I had to come out of the place looking like Frankenstein - with bad hair, and moving like a zombie.
