Offering classical amusement park rides such as a carousel, bumper cars and a ferris wheel as well as thrill-seeking rides including the 50-foot vertical drop Scream Machine, Coney Island has been offering fun for the entire family since the late 1800s. Families can use the pedal boats on the man-made Lake Como, picnic under the plethora of shady trees, see daily live entertainment or take their toddlers on one of many dedicated kiddie rides. With over three million gallons of circulating water, the park's Sunlit Pool provides lap swimming, diving and waterslides. Located ten miles east of downtown Cincinnati, Coney Island is nestled along the Ohio River next door to Riverbend Music Center, an outdoor concert pavilion.
